Sonoma Valley Couples Photoshoot

New was the theme of this shoot. I shot John and Summer for the first time, used a new lens, and explored a new location for couples photography in Sonoma Valley.

I didn’t expect to like this location so much for a couples shoot, but the variety surprised me! Sometimes you just need the couple standing in front of your camera to recognize all a location has to offer. There are the obvious stunning views of the Sonoma Mountains and golden grass fields, but it was the little surprises like the picnic tables and wooden fenced field that gave us some of the cutest photos. I love how their gallery has a mix of greenery photos and golden field photos. I’m a big fan of greenery and so at the end of the shoot I asked if they’d be down to go shoot a few more photos by the dog park. It honestly didn’t look too cute but looking through my lens and the right angle changed that. My favorite photo of the whole shoot ended up coming from that spot!
