As someone who also works in real estate but doesn’t specialize in real estate photography, this interior design photography project completely shifted my perspective. Photographing this stunning kitchen remodel in Santa Rosa, California, was a reminder of just how much intention and artistry goes into capturing interiors the right way!
I’m a huge fan of Madison Dietz Design, not just as a designer, but as a person she is truly one of my favorite people to work with. From start to finish, this project was an absolute joy to photograph and edit. When the home interior design is this beautifully executed, it truly makes my job much more rewarding.
Why I love Interior Design Photography more than Real Estate Photography
Interior design photography is entirely different than traditional real estate photography where the focus is on the space and the function of the space. Interior design photography is more about storytelling like portrait photography, something I’m very familiar with. Much like the design process, interior design photography focuses on highlighting those textures, color palettes, and the designer’s overall creative vision.
