Savannah, Georgia on Film
This year’s mom and daughter trip was to Savannah, Georgia and Charleston, South Carolina. I was excited to test out some new film and use my grandpa’s old Olympus Stylus point and shoot camera! I was so inspired by the city’s character and hope to one day come back here for a photoshoot!
We started off our morning with a walk underneath the famous Oak trees to what ended up being my favorite breakfast of the trip. My mom and I ordered the chicken & waffles (the buffalo syrup sounded very intriguing and didn’t disappoint) and avocado toast to split from Collins Quarter at Forsyth. The perfect blend of sweet and savory to start our day. Another favorite restaurant was Little Duck Diner, which explains why there’s a plastic duck in my mom’s drink below. To end our three day trip in Savannah, we boarded the Georgia Queen for a sunset river cruise. We spent most of our time on the top deck listening to the live band. W were not sure we wanted to do the cruise due to the weather but it ended up being well worth the ticket. I love getting to experience new cities with my mom and am thankful she is such an organized trip planner! She’s so cute, I love taking photos of her!
