Something I really love about choosing a unique location like a bookstore is that is gives the couple something to do, something that feels natural! This bookstore photoshoot encouraged connection and took the focus off of posing for photos. This is the type of relaxed maternity shoot every mama to be needs in her life. The candid interactions captured in these photos are so true to them and I just love that I get to tell such sweet stories with a camera.

Who knew Santa Rosa had the most perfect bookstore for a photoshoot!? The bookstore offered multiple different corners and spots to be in our own realm and not feel in the way of anyone browsing. We even found the most perfect book, Welcome Little One By Sandra Magsamen, a few minutes after searching for a children’s book!
