These two traveled from Southern California to celebrate their love with an intimate Sonoma County elopement in Healdsburg. Choosing a private ceremony allowed them to focus on being fully present with one another on their wedding day. After exchanging vows at a private location, we made our way to a stunning vineyard in Healdsburg for their newlywed portraits, where rolling vineyards and mountain views created the perfect Wine Country backdrop.

The portrait location couldn't have been a more fitting way to end their day. Surrounded by rows of vineyards, elegant architecture, and sweeping views of the surrounding hills, every corner felt timeless and romantic. I can’t tell you how excited the bride was when we showed up to the portrait location. She was in awe at the beauty of the wine estate having never been there before. We even got to do a little off roading up to the highest growing vineyards they have to take bride and groom portraits in.

One of the highlights of the session was off-roading up to the highest vineyards on the estate. At the top the views stretched across Wine Country, giving us a secluded setting for some of their bride and groom portraits. With nothing but vineyards, mountains, and golden California light surrounding them, it felt like they had the entire landscape to themselves!

What I loved most about this Sonoma County elopement was how naturally these two connected with each other. Their private ceremony was so special and I love getting to capture couples who look so effortlessly comfortable in front of the camera simply because they’re focused on each other the whole time.
