Here is a collection of some of the beautiful spots in Sonoma County to take your senior photos!
Bodega Bay
The beach is stunning, but when choosing this location keep in mind that I don’t reschedule for bad weather unless it is raining. Be prepared for 15-20mph winds! If you’re willing to take on the wind, I am totally down for that as well! Salmon Creek has the sand dunes to run around in (and help protect you from the winds), while other bodega beaches offer the beautiful cliffs!
2. Russian River (Forestville, CA)
The Russian River offers a beautiful mix of nature and adventure, making it a great spot for senior photos! The location offers trails full of lush greenery and the flowing river. Using the river as a backdrop make the photos feel both peaceful and full of life.
3. Laguna Trail (Sebastopol)
The Laguna Trail in Sebastopol offers a beautiful blend of open fields and a distinctive fallen tree log that makes for a unique backdrop. The golden grasses create a warm, rustic setting, especially at golden hour. Whether you're walking the trail, sitting on the log, or capturing the wide-open landscape, this spot is perfect for natural, scenic photos.
4. V Sattui Winery (St. Helena)
V. Sattui Winery in Saint Helena, CA, is one of the stunning wineries for senior portraits. Even during off-seasons when the vines aren’t in bloom, the winery offers a beautiful setting for photos. I especially love the two fountains! The best time to shoot here is typically Monday through Thursday. While it’s a gorgeous location, there’s no guarantee of a private spot.

5. Studio Session
Studio Seven in Santa Rosa, CA isn’t just for branding portraits, it’s a great option if you’re going for a clean, sleek look or want to bring a creative vision to life with props. This studio requires an extra $75 to book one hour at the studio.
